The relief first depicts two Muses from Greek mythology: Euterpe on the

representing the fusion of lyrical poetry and music. Her presence

On the right, Calliope is the Muse of Epic Poetry and is regarded as the
leader of all the Muses. She often holds a scroll or parchment,
